IIA Training

Tokyo University of Agriculture Program

Beginning in 1968, Michigan State University (MSU) and Tokyo University of Agriculture (TUA) in Japan have participated in student exchange programs. In addition to English language study and academic course work, their students have opportunities for internships in their majors and related field work. Likewise TUA faculty, including visiting professors and scholars, have collaborated on a variety of research projects with various MSU faculty members and departments, usually in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

MSU has sent several undergraduate students and a faculty representative to participate in the International Students Summit on Food, Agriculture and Environment in the New Century (ISS) held at TUA every November since 2000.
