MOTSSA Nicaragua
The Nicaragua Market-Oriented Training Service on Standards Application (MOTSSA), is an effort funded by the Standards and Trade Development Facilitation (STDF). The Institute of International Agriculture (IIA) was granted a proposal preparation grant in March of 2006. This proposal targets the development of several activities in direct support of the expansion of agricultural trade in Nicaragua. The MOTSSA will develop sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) issue-specific training in target value chains to ensure a sustainable market access. The proposal for this project was submitted in July 2007.
